Village Green Park is located near the town hall on Main Street. It has picnic tables and a merry-go-round.
McCool Park is located two blocks north of the co-op elevator. Playground, picnic shelters, grills, volleyball net and a baseball/softball field. Restrooms and a camping area equipped with electrical hook-ups are available. Call the Town Hall if interested in having a family picnic or other events at the park.

Senior citizens meet every Wednesday and Friday for lunch at the McCool Junction Town Hall. Make reservations 24 hours in advance.
Iron Horse Station G518 meets the first Thursday of the month in the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. The goal of the group is to restore the old railroad depot.
Community Improvement Club is a group which works to improve the community as a whole. They hold fund raisers to work on community projects, give educational scholarships and select an Educator of the Year. They meet the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the town hall.
